Taper Body

The taper body design has become the industry standard for overland vehicles, and for good reason. Not only does it offer a visually appealing aesthetic that sets it apart from traditional commercial vehicles, but it also serves a practical purpose. The taper on the rear of the body plays a crucial role in maintaining the vehicle's departure angle, which is essential for off-road travel.

Off-road adventures often involve traversing challenging terrains, including steep inclines and uneven surfaces. The departure angle refers to the angle at which the rear of the vehicle can clear obstacles without getting stuck or causing damage. By incorporating a taper body design, Motorcraft Overland Accessories ensures that their vehicles have an optimised departure angle, allowing them to navigate rough terrain with confidence.

Beyond the functional benefits, the taper body design also enhances the overall look of the expedition truck. It distinguishes it from conventional commercial vehicles, giving it a rugged and adventurous appearance that aligns perfectly with the spirit of overlanding. So, not only does the taper body design offer practical advantages for off-road travel, but it also adds a touch of style and individuality to your expedition vehicle.
